Cookie notice
This notice explains which cookies and similar tools lastmile2you.com uses and how you can choose. It follows the Italian data protection authority’s (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools of 10/06/2021 and Article 122 of Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003. The Italian version is the reference text.
The controller is Last Mile Solutions S.r.l., via Pola 11, 20124 Milan, Italy, VAT no. 10468120968, email info@lastmile2you.com, certified email (PEC) lastmilesolutions@legalmail.it. Everything else about how we handle data is in the Privacy notice.
What they are
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. Similar tools, such as localStorage, store information in the browser in much the same way. Some are needed to make the site work (technical). Others count visits or measure advertising: we use these only if you consent.
How the choice works
- On your first visit the site shows a notice. Until you choose, it stores only what is technically necessary in your browser.
- “Accept” and “Reject” are given equal prominence. If you close the notice with the X, or with the Esc key, that counts as rejecting.
- “Customise” lets you switch on one or both categories: Statistics and Marketing.
- If you reject, Google Analytics and the Meta pixel are not loaded and set no cookies. You can still use the whole site.
- We remember your choice for 6 months. After that we ask again.
- You can change your mind at any time through the “Cookie preferences” link at the foot of every page. When you withdraw consent, the site deletes from your browser the cookies of that category that it had set.

The site uses no other first-party cookies. The contact form sets no cookies.
If you consent, the Meta pixel may also read or set cookies on Meta’s own domains (for example facebook.com), especially if you have a Meta account. Meta manages those cookies under its own cookie policy.
Statistics: Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 to learn which pages are read, for how long and on what kind of device. We may load it through Google Tag Manager, which only manages these tools and is itself loaded only after consent.
We use Google Consent Mode v2: the site tells Google whether you accepted or rejected, and Google takes this into account.
- Providers: Google Ireland Ltd (Ireland) and Google LLC (United States).
- Google’s role: it processes Google Analytics data on our behalf, as our processor, under Google’s data processing terms. Any use for Google’s own purposes is described on the page linked below.
- Retention in Google Analytics: no longer than 14 months.
- How Google uses the data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Marketing: Meta pixel
We use the Meta pixel to measure the results of our campaigns on Facebook and Instagram, for example how many people reach the site from an advert.
- Providers: Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (Ireland) and Meta Platforms, Inc. (United States).
- Meta’s role: for collecting data on the site and sending it to Meta, the company and Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd are joint controllers (Art. 26 GDPR). For what Meta does with the data after receiving it, Meta is a separate controller. The use of Meta’s tools is governed by Meta’s Business Tools Terms and the Controller Addendum, which sets out the joint controllers’ responsibilities.
- How Meta uses the data: Meta privacy policy.
Transfers outside the European Union
Google and Meta may process data in the United States. Where the provider is certified, the transfer relies on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10/07/2023). You can check this on the official list. Otherwise it relies on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Managing cookies in your browser
You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Here are the guides for the most common browsers:
For Google Analytics there is also Google’s opt-out browser add-on.
Your rights
You have the rights set out in Articles 15 to 22 GDPR and you can complain to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali. How to exercise them is explained in the Privacy notice.
Changes
If we add tools that need consent, we will update this page and ask for your consent again. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
